In 2014, during a joint Russian-Hungarian expedition members of Russian Raptor Research and Conservation Network (RRRCN) and MME BirdLife Hungary has tagged 10 juvenile eagles with transmitters. ARGOS/GPS dataloggers produced by Microwave Telemetry, Inc. and GSM/GPS loggers produced by Ecotone Telemetry and Aquila were attached to 3 of juvenile Steppe Eagles (Aquila nipalensis), and 6 Imperial Eagles (Aquila heliaca). The expedition was organized by Sibecocenter LLC (Novosibirsk) and Ecoton LLC (Samara). We are thankful to our sponsors MME BirdLife Hungary.
